Jason Scott Gist, 49, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on May 22nd, 2025 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Born on January 31st, 1976, Jason worked at GM in Spring Hill, TN. He enjoyed watching Tennessee Titans football, fishing, grilling, and spending time with loved ones. Jason is survived by his wife, Sarah Denton; daughter, Josie Gist; son, Gavin Denton; brother, Dewayne Gist; nieces, Katelyn Romsdal, Jade Beckman, and Amelia Owens, and nephew, Hunter Adkins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry Dean Gist and Thelma Lorene Hancock, grandmother Clara Davis Gist, grandfather J.L. Gist, sister Cynthia Adkins, and niece Telina Morris. Visitation and funeral service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on May 29th, 2025, with interment at Center Point Methodist Cemetery in Leoma, TN. Jason will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
