Stephen Ray “Steve” Gist, age 72, of Florence, passed away on March 24, 2026.

Life Summary

He was of the Baptist faith. Steve was a graduate of Rogers High School and the previous owner of Gist Service Company for over 30 years. He enjoyed working in his yard and attending car shows with his grandson. Nothing meant more to Steve than his grandson Will, who was truly his world.

• The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm, in the funeral home chapel, with Dr. Tom Malone officiating.
