Roger Dale Strickland, a beloved resident of Pulaski, TN, passed away on Sunday, March 16th, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on May 31st, 1948, in Pulaski, TN, Roger was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He took great pride in his support for the Green Hornets and Tennessee Volunteers, and enjoyed activities such as golf, fishing, and camping. Known for his friendly nature, Roger never met a stranger and cherished spending time with his family and friends on the back porch.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas “Tommie” Strickland and Martha Ellen Edde Strickland, as well as his brothers, G.W. and Calvin Strickland, and nephew, Steve Strickland. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Wilburn Strickland, his daughter Rhonda Strickland Hargrove (Jackie Tosh), sons Darryl (Rhonda) Strickland and Derrick Strickland (Cassie Jones), and brother Don (Carolyn) Strickland. Additionally, Roger is survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Roger’s life will be held at a later date. The arrangements for Roger Dale Stickland are being handled by Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
