Roger Dale Strickland, a beloved resident of Pulaski, TN, passed away on Sunday, March 16th, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on May 31st, 1948, in Pulaski, TN, Roger was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a proud Green Hornet and Tennessee Volunteer fan, and enjoyed activities such as golf, fishing, and camping. Roger was known for his friendly nature and his love for spending time with family and friends on the back porch.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas “Tommie” Strickland and Martha Ellen Edde Strickland, brothers G.W. and Calvin Strickland, and nephew Steve Strickland. Roger is survived by his wife, Betty Wilburn Strickland, daughter Rhonda Strickland Hargrove (Jackie Tosh), sons Darryl (Rhonda) Strickland, and Derrick Strickland (Cassie Jones), brother Don (Carolyn) Strickland, 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Roger’s life will be held on Sunday, April 6th, 2025, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Bodenham Convention Center. Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Roger Dale Stickland. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
