Don Kelley Obituary
Don Kelley, 65, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, AL. He was a retired fire chief of the Lawrenceburg Fire Department and a former instructor at the TN State Fire Academy. Don was a dedicated member of the Lawrenceburg community, having been involved in various organizations such as the Lawrenceburg Rotary Club, NRA, and Mars Hill Baptist Church. He was also known for his passion for fishing.
Don was preceded in death by his father, L.V. Kelley; his sister, Sandy Glass; and his brother, Terry Wayne Kelley. He is survived by his daughter, Kassie Kelly; his mother, Marjorie Inman Jones (Jimmy); his loving companion, Pam Lipscomb; and his niece, Kelli Daniel.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Mars Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on the same day at the church, with interment to follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
