Sherry Lee Chennault, 66, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. Sherry was a retired employee of Murray Ohio and a devoted member of the Protestant Faith. She was born in Panama City, FL, and is survived by her mother, Christine Selvey Walker of Oak Forrest, IL.
Sherry was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Chennault, her father, Larry Walker, three brothers, and her granddaughter, Chloe Nix. She is survived by her two daughters, Rose Doherty (Rick Smith) of Iron City, TN, and Beverly Cappello of Bradenton, FL, as well as her son, Robert Doherty (Trinity) of Lawrenceburg, TN. Sherry is also survived by her five grandchildren, Braden Doherty, Payton Doherty, Tatum Tucker, Emily Cappello, and Nicholas Cappello, and her two great-grandchildren, Novalee Nix and Delilah Tucker.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, and the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at New Salem Cemetery in Summertown, TN at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
