Sue Coggin, age 88, of Petersburg, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at NHC Pulaski. She was born in Red Oak Community in Lincoln County, TN, on October 11, 1937, to Jack Davis and Verna Minatra Davis. Sue worked for Bank of Frankewing and was a devoted member of East Hill Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Verna Davis, her husband Bobby Coggin, her brother Eddie Davis, and her sister Louise Hamlin.
Visitation will be held from 4-7pm on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 12 noon on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Giles Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests Memorial Contributions be made to East Hill Church of Christ Benevolence Fund.
Sue is survived by her daughter Denise Bicknell (Tim) of Antioch; grandchildren Rebecca Holcom (Josh), Blake Bicknell; and great-grandchildren Savannah, Mason, and Daisy. Carr and Erwin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
