James Carl Manuele, Sr. passed away on September 3, 2025, at the age of 80. He was a retired civil engineer and a devoted member of the Catholic Faith. Mr. Manuele served his country with honor in the U.S. Army as an AirBorne Ranger and Special Forces Commander, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel after 18 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Pamela Manuele, his daughter Alyson Manuele, his son James Carl Manuele, Jr., his brother Gary Manuele, his sister Frances Magyar, and six grandchildren: Elizabeth, Patrick, Jacob, Stella, Emma, and Sophia.
A visitation will be held on September 11, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home, with a rosary service at 7:00 PM. The funeral Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Lawrenceburg on September 12, 2025, with interment to follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN, with full military honors.
