Eugene Knuckles, 79, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025. Born on June 3, 1946, in Harlan, Kentucky, Eugene was the cherished son of the late Henry Knuckles and Rosa Hensley Fowler.
Eugene is survived by his devoted wife, Kathrine Knuckles, and his children: Sandra Phillips, Kay Robinson, Sasha Hobbs, Walter Knuckles, Charles Knuckles, Perry Knuckles, and Shane Ritchie. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry forward his stories and memories. Eugene is also remembered by his sister, JoAnn Scott.
Eugene spent his working life as a skilled climber for a tree service, a job that reflected his love for nature and the outdoors. In his retirement, he found joy in fishing and tinkering with small engines.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Condolences may be sent via the funeral home’s website at www.nealfuneralhome.net. Eugene will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
